In tune with modern society, outside of Disney, Florida
is probably most famous for its everglades (and its
alligators!) and the 'Keys'
– a stretch of islands protected by North America's
only coral reef. Lesser known is that the everglades
is the home of the Seminole Indians who were forced
to retreat there away from land-hungry Europeans. In
1911, the Seminole Indians were allocated reservation
lands and it is here that they maintain their ancestral
traditions.
For the sportsman, the Keys
provide fisherman with the opportunity to fulfil the
fisherman's dream – landing the 'big catch', as
this is the home of big game fishing.

The Latin capital of Florida! Created from
marshland and with 'imported' sand, Miami is one of
America's newest cities. Its beaches are famous,
as is its architecture (with many art deco buildings)
and its residents (such as the late designer Gianni
Versace) The rich and famous also have holiday
homes in Miami.
Stuck in the middle of the Florida everglades it is
the perfect city from which to enjoy the glorious
Florida sun, to visit the Everglades National Park, take
a trip to the Florida Keys, and at night, enjoy the
delights of Ocean Drive!
South Beach is famous (and we are not talking south
beach diet here!) and on our pages we have not only

Probably one of the most exciting destinations in the
world, Orlando offers something different and exciting
to do every day. With 43 square miles (69 square kilometres)
Walt Disney World is the largest
entertainment complex in the world with its Magic Kingdom,
Epcot Centre, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom. Plus
there are the other attractions such as Universal Studios,
Sea World and Discovery Cove to choose from too. However, Orlando does not end
there! What about City
Walk, Church Street Station, Pleasure Island, Arabian Nights,
Downtown Disney, the many water parks to name a few –
there just aren't enough hours in the day to see and
do everything the area has
to offer.
Orlando vacations need not
be just about Walt Disney World,
but it can't be argued – it is the biggest attraction
in the world never mind the USA or Florida!
