The Villa

Chalet Gold Inn Bear is a beautiful 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom home that sleeps 10 people. Great for family reunions and weddings. Private outdoor hot tub, gourmet kitchen, heated slate floors in bathrooms, wood-burning fireplace and 180 degree mountain views make this house enjoyable for all.

Location

For the summer vacation, it is located on a golf course beside a lake and there are miles of hiking and biking trails all around. In winter, the cross-country skiing and snow shoeing is outside your front door. If you're here to ski or snowboard you can see the runs on both Blackcomb and Whistler mountains from the house. It is only a 2 minute bus or drive to the slopes. Walking distance to Whistler Recreation Centre for skating, swimming, squash, and gym.

Accommodation

On the entrance level there are 2 bedrooms both with en suite baths, laundry and coat and ski storage. The next level is an open floor plan. It has a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops. The dining room and living room have unbelievable mountain views and there are 2 small decks. The top level has 2 more bedrooms and one bath. There is one more bedroom and en suite bath that can be used or locked off if fewer that 10 people are staying.

Facilities

All the bedrooms can either have 2 single beds or 1 king. There are 2 TVs both with VCRs and a stereo/CD player in the living room. All bedding and towels are supplied. The kitchen is fully equipped. Outdoor hot tub for 8. Barbecue on deck. Washer and dryer. Owner can offer discounted lift tickets, ski or snowboard rentals and lessons. Owner can also offer you discounted golf. Just ask.

Additional Information

The above prices are based on 8 people staying in 4 bedrooms. Add CAN$100 per night for extra bedroom and bath to sleep 10. 7% tax (GST) is additional but you can apply for refund if not Canadian citizens. To confirm a reservation, a deposit in the amount of one night is required on Visa or MasterCard and the balance is due 45 days prior to arrival.
