Location

The Grand-Duc is an 'au chalet en bois rond' (log chalet) and one of six Scandinavian log homes located in Sainte-Christine D'Auvergne in Québec. They are 10 minutes from Saint-Raymond city (comté de Portneuf), 50 minutes from Québec city and 50 minutes from Trois-Rivières, 2 hours 30 minutes from Montréal, 3 hours 30 minutes from Ottawa and 8 hours 30 minutes from Toronto. All the chalets are on the waterfront. Located on a huge tract of land in the heart of beautiful Portneuf, the cottages provide access to a vast network of forest trails and miles of river. Portneuf is a favourite vacation spot, with fine country dining and countless tourist attractions – a must for visitors all year round.

Accommodation

The chalet has 6 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 persons comfortably. It is ideal for a honeymoon, wedding anniversary, or any other special occasion.

Facilities

The Grand-Duc is different from the other cottages with its little extras: pool table, card game table, washer-dryer, dishwasher, 2 satellite TVs, central vacuum system, spacious kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one with whirlpool bath), beautiful stone fireplace, balcony and terrace with furniture and BBQ, stairs leading to the river with a private deck and rowbo.

During low season, we offer 3 nights for the price of 2 in the middle of the week. A honeymoon package is available.
