The Villa
Villa Adonis is situated in its own private orange grove,
and 300m from the long beach, which is protected from development
as it is part of Akamas National Park. Once guests have discovered
this area, they want to return, and many have told the owner
that they have never felt so relaxed on holiday.
Location
Argaka is a widespread friendly village with a handful of
local tavernas serving traditional meals (from 300 m), and
a coffee shop and supermarket. The village centre is a short
drive. Chrysochou Bay has miles and miles of quiet protected
beaches away from the crowds, backed by citrus groves and
hills. The nearest beach at the end of the track is sandy
and the bay is good for fossil hunting and snorkelling.
This coast is also one of the last nesting grounds for green
and loggerhead turtles. This is wonderful walking country
and in the spring and autumn it hosts rare migrating birds.
The snow-capped mountains of Turkey can be seen on a clear
day.
Adonis is an ideal base for a relaxing beach holiday and
you may like to explore the largely uninhabited Akamas Peninsula
nearby. The nearest town is Polis (7 km) which has banks,
interesting shops, and excellent tavernas.
A car is required. You drive on the same side of the road
as the UK and all the road signs are in English. The owner
can arrange for the car company to meet you at the airport.

Accommodation
The villa is spacious and furnished to a good standard and has the benefit of heating in cooler months. There are lovely sea views from this property.
Facilities
The private pool measures 4 m x 8 m. The garden is equipped with sunloungers, umbrellas, outside shower and BBQ, etc. The open-plan lounge is comfortable and has a TV.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a cooker and hob, washing machine and fridge-freezer. There are 2 double and 2 twin bedrooms, all with air conditioning. Sofa-bed in lounge. Bathroom with a bath, shower and WC. Shower room with WC. Downstairs guest WC.
