The Villa

Le Chene is part of a longere that has been renovated into a high standard gite. Our rooms have been designed with families in mind, each gite having a family room. All rooms are spacious and furnished with traditional Breton furniture. All mod cons are available to make your holiday as hassle free as possible. A private terrace leads out into the large garden, complete with kids’ toys and the fantastic 40 ft x 20 ft shared heated pool.

We have free fishing on the community lake, which is a stone’s throw away. The shops are just 10 minutes away in the beautiful town of Josselin and the beaches are just half an hour away. Water sports at Ploermel are just 15 minutes away and is very popular in the summer. It also has a small man-made beach. There is plenty to do and many attractions to visit or you can just sit by the pool, let the kids play and relax!

Location

Le Corroi is situated in the countryside and yet is just minutes away from the expressway for easy access to the beaches and shops. We are just 10 minutes away from the beautiful medieval market town of Josselin which boasts a fabulous chateau on the Brest to Nantes canal. Here you can find ample shops and pavement restaurants while you explore this lovely town. Beaches can be found on the south and north coast of Brittany.

Lorient has a fantastic beach called Lamour Plage which stretches for miles and is renowned for its cleanliness. Carnac is a must. This is Brittany’s 'Stonehenge' and is worth a visit. With the beach just minutes away, it is a good day out for all the family.

Accommodation

Le Chene has 4 bedrooms comprising 1 family room, and 2 doubles upstairs and 1 twin room downstairs. 1 large bath/shower room is upstairs and a large shower room downstairs. The fully fitted kitchen has all mod cons, including dishwasher, microwave, cooker, and fridge. The dining and lounge area have ample seating for 10–12 persons. Centrally heated for autumn and winter lets. A laundry room is also available.

A private terrace complete with BBQ area and garden furniture leads out into the large garden and our fabulous 40 ft x 20 ft shared heated pool with integral child's section. The pool is surrounded by decking and sunbeds. Child-friendly.

Facilities

Our laundry room is available, plus ironing board and iron. Cots, highchairs, pushchairs and stair-gates available on request.
