The Villa

Le Grange is part of a renovated longere that has retained many of its features dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. Le Grange has a fantastic beamed ceiling and granite walls which have been exposed to their natural state.

The gite has been designed with families in mind. All rooms are spacious and furnished tastefully. All mod cons are available to ensure your holiday is hassle free. A private terrace leads out into the large garden complete with kids’ toys and the fantastic 40 ft x 20 ft shared heated pool.

There is free fishing on the lake, which is just a stone’s throw away. The shops are just 10 minutes away in the beautiful town of Josselin and the beaches are just half an hour away. Water sports are available at Lac au Duc, Ploermel – 15 minutes away. Lac au Duc is very popular in the summer and also has a small man-made beach. There is plenty to do and many attractions to visit or you can just sit by the pool, watch the kids play and relax!

Location

Le Corroi is ideally situated in the Breton countryside and yet is just minutes from the expressway (N24) for easy access to the shops and beaches. Josselin, the beautiful medieval market town, is just 10 minutes away. Josselin boasts is very own beautiful chateau on the Brest-Nantes canal. There are plenty of shops and afterwards you can relax at one of the many pavement restaurants.

The beaches can be found on the north and south coast of Brittany. Lorient, situated on the south coast is very popular and just half and hour’s drive away. Here you can find Larmor Plage, which stretches for miles and is renowned for its cleanliness. The superstores can also be found at and around Lorient. Carnac, Brittany’s 'Stonehenge' is a must. With the beach not far away this is a great day out for all the family.

Accommodation

Le Grange has 6 bedrooms comprising 1 family room with en-suite and shower downstairs, 2 doubles, 2 twins and 1 'snug' (bunk beds) upstairs. Upstairs is a large bath/shower room and a large shower room downstairs. A fully fitted kitchen with all mod cons, including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cooker and fridge, leads to the dining area with ample seating for 14–16 people. The lounge area also has ample seating for 14–16 people. Central heating for autumn and winter lets. A laundry room is also available with ironing board and iron.

A private terrace with BBQ and garden furniture leads out into the large garden with kids’ toys and the fantastic 40 ft x 20 ft shared heated pool. The pool is surrounded by decking and sunbeds.
