The Villa
The Beams is approximately 400 years old and has been renovated
into a 5 bedroomed gite catering for 12-14 persons. It is
ideal for families and large parties.
Our self-catering accommodation has all mod cons and facilities
to ensure a relaxed holiday. Each gite has a private terrace
which leads out into the large garden and our fantastic 20ft
x 40ft heated swimming pool. The beaches are just half an
hour away and we are central to many attractions. We are set
in the countryside and yet not far from the expressway (N24)
for easy access to shops, restaurants, bars, etc.
There is free fishing on the lake which is just a stone’s
throw away and golfing holidays are available on request.

Location
The Beams is situated in the hamlet of Le Corroi. It is just
10-15 minutes from the beautiful medieval market town of Josselin,
which boasts its own fantastic chateau on the Brest-Nantes
canal. Here you can find shops, pavement restaurants and many
bars.
Beaches can be found on the south and north coast of Brittany.
Lorient, which lies on the south coast is just half an hour
away. Larmor Plage stretches for miles and is very popular.
It is also renowned for its cleanliness. Superstores can also
be found in and around Lorient if shopping is on the agenda.
Carnac is Brittany’s 'Stonehenge' and is a must. With the
beach not far away it is an ideal day out for all the family.
The village of Buleon, just minutes away, has its own bar,
restaurant and shop.
AccommodationThe 5 bedrooms comprise: (downstairs) 1 double room and 1 twin room, (upstairs) 1 family room (double bed and bunks) and 2 further double rooms. There is a bath/shower room upstairs and a large shower room downstairs. The fully fitted kitchen features all mod cons including dishwasher, fridge, microwave, cooker, etc. The dining area has ample seating for 12 -14 persons. The lounge area also seats 12-14. The fireplace features a woodburner and there is central heating for autumn and winter lets. A private terrace with garden furniture and BBQ leads out in the large garden with toys and the fantastic 40ft x 20ft heated swimming pool with an integral child’s section. The pool is surrounded by a decking area and sunbeds. Ample parking.
Facilities
Laundry room with iron and ironing board. Cots, pushchairs,
stair-gates and highchairs are supplied on request. Linen
provided. Central heating for autumn and winter lettings.
