The Villa

A completely independent 'little house' in the grounds of a large private villa in Miramar, overlooking the Esterel coast and Mediterranean. Guests share the facilities of the villa with any other occupants in the main villa which is advertised under Katrilla Garden Apartment. Poolhouse guests have all their own facilities of terrace, BBQ, loungers, outdoor dining area, etc.

Location

Within 45 minutes of Nice airport and only 20 minutes from Cannes. 4 kilometres from the picturesque village of Théoule with all local and artisanal shops and boutiques. Within walking distance of Miramar Beach with local bars and excellent restaurants. Bus service (infrequent) along coast road. Théoule train station 4 kilometres.

Accommodation

The accommodation is for 2 people only with a mezzanine bedroom with sloping pine ceiling that is 'just' head height ascending the stairs. Air-conditioning keeps the little house cool and the bedroom is open to the living area below with small wooden balustrade. Ground floor has living area with Travertine marble table and chairs, cream cushioned rattan sofa and armchair. TV/video, hi-fi. Kitchen has small grill/oven, microwave/grill, fridge, two-ring hob and sink, all fitted. Shower room with power shower, basin and WC. Outdoors the terrace is very private, dining area, gas barbecue and outdoor furniture.

Facilities

All facilities within the grounds of Villa Katrilla are shared. The chlorine-free pool is 10 x 5 metres. Surrounding sun-bathing terraces with parasols and loungers. Boulodrome to share with other guests. Secure off-road parking.

Additional Information

The Poolhouse can be rented independently or in conjunction with the Garden Apartment to sleep up to 8 people in facilities that are luxurious and private. The owners and any guests will use the pool, however, but do not infringe on guests' privacy as they are too busy working (!), but are on hand in case of any emergency.
