The VillaThis single storey, recently sympathetically renovated, stone-built villetta is set into the town walls, in a quiet location with off-road parking. Because of the swimming pool, and the villa's position, it is not suitable for children.
LocationThe villa overlooks the spectacular Ionian sea, with the rugged Pollino mountain range, dotted with its ancient hamlets behind. It is 5km from the sandy beaches that characterise this part of Italy. Within easy walking distance of shops, post office, bars, trattoria and pizzeria.
AccommodationThe house has a well-equipped kitchen with full-size cooker, fridge-freezer and microwave. The sitting room with beamed ceiling has comfortable seating, open fireplace, TV, video, and stereo radio/CD/tape player. There is one large double bedroom and full bathroom, and a large twin room with en-suite.
FacilitiesThe pool is 6.25m by 4.25m and a constant depth of about 1.2m and is available from May to the end of September. The gardens with their fabulous views are mainly laid to lawn with pizza oven, pergola, Mediterranean shrubs and vines, olive, fig, and lemon trees.
