The VillaOur holiday home is located in a charming and friendly place for your holidays – Positano on the Amalfi Coast, not far from Sorrento, Capri, Pompeii, and Naples. A fully furnished house, it has a fine view of the sea from the two large terraces. It is about 15 minutes from the town centre on foot. The bus stop (also used by Amalfi-Sorrento coaches) is only 2 minutes away.
LocationPositano is the favourite place of many famous people from all over the world, especially artists. Famous writers, musicians, dancers, painters, sculptors, photographers and actors have lived or spent their holidays here, being inspired by the magic of the spots. Why do all these people visit Positano?
The answer is that the town is a really beautiful and friendly
place, with its typical Mediterranean architecture and fine
views, with its small shops, typical workshops, ateliers,
and cafes. Positano was part of the medieval Republic of Amalfi,
and the church of Santa Maria Assunta, near the beach, has
a fine majolica dome and a couple of notable paintings.
Classical music, literature and ballet are at home in Positano,
with several happenings and shows (the most famous are the
L. Massine Art of Ballet Award, in September, and the International
Chamber Music Festival, in August).
Finally, Positano has a fine beach for swimming and boating
and it is a good starting point to visit Pompeii, Sorrento,
Capri and Amalfi.
AccommodationThe house has a master bedroom and a second bedroom with 3 single beds. The remainder of the property comprises: a fully fitted kitchen, dining room seating 6, and a terrace furnished with table, chairs and long-chairs.
FacilitiesThe kitchen has a cooker, oven, fridge-freezer, moka coffee-maker, and all pottery and cutlery items. In the utility there is a washer, iron and ironing board and a BBQ. All linen and towels are supplied.

Additional InformationThe cost includes water, gas and electric power, so there is no extra charge. A 30% deposit is taken on booking, the balance being payable on arrival.
