The Villa

Cà Jolanda is a vacation apartment in the centre of the Venice Lido. Constructed in the 1930s, the apartment is furnished in style and equipped with all the comforts. The apartment consists of two comfortable bedrooms and will accommodate 4 persons.

Location

Besides being so close to Venice, the island of Lido has always acted as a link with the long chain of islands dividing the Adriatic Sea from the Lagoon. We are in the centre of the Lido, 3 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from the vaporetto's stop to San Marco square.

This elegantly furnished apartment of 95 sq m is on the second floor and comprises an entrance hall, two bedrooms (1 double room and 1 twin), 1 bathroom, 1 living room with TV, and a large fully equipped kitchen.

At the southern end of the Lagoon, the Lido is the largest of Venice's islands. This provides a marvellous alternative to staying in the main part of the city. The Lido has an eight-mile expanse of beach. This, at the turn of the 19th century, made it Europe's premier resort and an essential stopping point on the Grand Tour.

If you arrive by train, your starting point is Santa Lucia railway station. The vaporetto (water bus) stop is just outside it, and your trip to the apartment is a sightseeing tour in itself. Take the Number 1 – it takes you on a ride through the Grand Canal lasting about 50 minutes. Or hop on the 51 for a more direct to route to the Lido (35 minutes).
