The Villa
The Orange Cottage is a large rustic two-bedroom cottage
with a huge south-facing terrace that has spectacular panoramic
views. There is an acre of garden and a large pool area. The
cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and an infant.
Location
The Quintassential occupies an acre of hilltop set in breathtaking Algarvian countryside in the centre of the sunny Algarve in total peace and tranquillity 15 minutes from Faro International Airport and the coast and overlooking the town of Loulé which is 5 minutes away. There are spectacular panoramic sea views from Faro to Portimao. Parts of the Quintassential date back to mid 19th Century. The Quintassential is ideally located in the centre of the Algarve and the world famous golf courses of Quinta Do Lago and Vale do Lobo are a short drive away and so too are many other sporting facilities. Aqua parks, theme parks, villages of interest are also easily accessible. Spain can be reached within 30 minutes and the west coast of the Algarve within 45 minutes. We are also ideally located for bird watchers and for those who love to walk.
Accommodation
The Orange Cottage is the largest of the cottages at Quintassential, a large two bedroom rustic cottage decorated in typical Algarvian décor of white washed walls and with a fully fitted kitchen including oven and stove, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle and toaster.
The Lounge/diner is tastefully decorated with cane and pine furniture, satellite
TV, video and radio/CD player, a selection of books, puzzles,
chess set, playing cards, ceiling fan and the Orange Cottage
boasts an original 19th century fireplace that now houses
the wood-burning stove. Double doors lead on to the very large
private terrace with it's own table, cushioned seating, Bar-B-Q
area and cushioned reclining chairs.
The bathroom has a new luxury double walk-in shower, washbasin,
WC., bidet and sloping wooden ceiling. The Orange Cottage
bedrooms consist of one double bed and one twin bed both with
sloping wooden ceilings.
Facilities
The Quintassential is blessed with panoramic sea views and spectacular countryside
views, just what you need for a tranquil and relaxing holiday.
The gardens at Quintassential are marvellous, with many bushes,
plants and fruit trees, along with quiet areas to relax and
absorb the views.
The Quintassential has a large pool area, the pool measures
10 x 5 m and cushioned sun loungers, and parasols, etc. are
provided for the use of the guests.
On arrival the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival
will be a very generous welcome hamper in your accommodation
compliments of the house. For all the adult guests, bathrobes
are provided for use during their stay, pool towels are provided
to use only at the Quintassential and the cottages have hairdryers
and alarm clocks.
On selected evenings of the week, there is also an evening
meal option. Traditional home-cooked Portuguese cuisine is
served on the owner's private terrace, which has spectacular
views over Loulé. What a better way to end your day
with a nice meal and a glass of delicious Portuguese wine.

Additional Information
All prices quoted are based on a minimum of 3 people occupying the cottage.
To secure a booking a 30% non-refundable deposit is required and the balance is payable six weeks prior to arrival.
If you book a second week stay at the Quintassential, we will give you a 10% discount on the second week booking.
Children under the age of 2 are free, and we provide cots and high chairs at no extra cost.
There is a Returnable Damages Deposit of £250.00, which will need to be paid six weeks prior to arrival. This will be returned in full should there be no damage to the cottage within two weeks of departure.
Prices quoted from 1st November through until 28th February
already include heating for the cottage.
