The Villa

Superb luxury top floor apartment in the exclusive Praia del Rey Golf and Country Club. Fully furnished to a high standard with south-facing sun terrace, not overlooked, giving total privacy. The apartment has the use of a communal and children’s pool and is located close to a beautiful beach.

Location

Praia del Rey is located about 1 hour’s drive from Lisbon on the unspoilt west coast between the ancient towns of Obidos and Peniche. A visit to the walled town of Obidos is a must for the history and views from the castle walls but also for the shopping and restaurants in the narrow cobbled streets. Peniche, a historic picturesque fishing town with its 16th century fortress is known for its excellent and inexpensive seafood restaurants. Baleal is a popular bay for surfers from all over the world. A welcome sheet is available to give additional information about the area.

Accommodation

The apartment has one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and two further twin bedrooms with bathroom, each with its own balcony. Large lounge with fireplace and double sofa bed. Dining room with seating for 8 people. Central heating for winter use. Cloakroom. Fully fitted kitchen. Not suitable for elderly or infirm as there is no lift. No smoking or pets allowed. Self-catering, although the clubhouse has a restaurant which is two minutes’ walk away. It also has a games room, plasma screen cable TV. Ideal for keeping the children entertained!

Widescreen TV, satellite and cable, DVD and video player, hi-fi, assortment of videos, CDs and DVDs.. Terrace has teak table, chairs and sun loungers. Kitchen is well equipped with 4 ring stove, grill, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and clothes dryer. Line and towels provided for apartment use only. Additional Information

Rental rates include: gas, electricity, linen, towels (internal use only), twice weekly maid service. Payment can be made in euros or sterling. A 25% deposit is required on booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. A refundable damage deposit of £100 or €150 is also required and needs to be added to final payment. This amount is refundable within 2 weeks of return, less the reasonable cost of any breakages or damage done (not including reasonable wear and tear).
