The Villa
The two hundred year old village house has been sympathetically
restored to include all the rustic charm of inland Andalusia
and offers all the modern amenities that are expected today.
The house is within three minutes walk of the village bars
and the small white village is situated in the heart of Andalusia.
Location
The holiday home and the village of El Canuelo is situated
in the Subbetica Natural Park in the south-east corner of
Cordoba province. It is ideally situated for visiting all
the Great Cities of Southern Spain. Granada and Cordoba are
only one hour away and Seville two hours. Within fifteen minutes
drive away is the town of Priego De Cordoba it has some of
the most stunning churches to be found in Andalusia The nearest
airport is at Malaga, under two hours drive away on good roads.
Car hire in Spain is one of the cheapest in Europe.
Accommodation
The recently restored house has two double bedrooms, one
with two singles beds and one with a double. The large sitting
room has views over the mountains of the Subbetica Natural
Park and a wood-burning stove for those winter evenings, there
is a separate dinning room off the traditional kitchen with
an Andalusian fireplace. To the front of the house is an enclosed
patio with outside dinning for six and a barbecue with fuel.
The recently installed internal bathroom has both a shower
and a bath.
Facilities
Kitchen utensils, including full cutlery and glasses for
six people, are supplied. The kitchen has been installed in
2004 and a fridge with freezer box, a new gas cooker and microwave
oven. There is also a kettle and coffee maker. In the sitting
room there are two ceiling fans for cool summer comfort and
the owners have supplied a television with a DVD player and
guests are invited to bring their own DVDs. Portable fans
are supplied for other rooms. All bed linen and bathroom towels
are supplied and a small welcome pack including tea and coffee
is awaiting your arrival. Your holiday home is cleaned and
prepared on your day of arrival.

Additional Information
The locality in the heart of Andalusia makes this location
a perfect point for visiting the great cities but because
it is situated in a beautiful unspoilt natural park there
are many opportunities to visit lakes, ride horses or just
walk in the peaceful country side. Eagles and vultures as
well as many more breed of birds can be seen. And the owners,
who live in the village, will be pleased to offer advice on
places of interest if required.
