The Villa

Sunny 1st floor apartment with large sun terrace. Close to all local activity – in the centre of a beautiful Spanish village. There is a municipal swimming pool and bar just up the road. Short drive to Gandia town and a large selection of surrounding villages/towns and beaches.

Ideal location for those of you who like to enjoy the best of both worlds. The apartment is situated in the peace and tranquillity of this beautiful Spanish village up in the mountains, where you have all necessary amenities for everyday living, including a bank, supermarkets, butcher's, bar/restaurants, baker's, large municipal swimming pool, English speaking doctor etc., and yet only a short drive to Gandia Town or its famous beach with an endless selection of nightclubs / wine bars and restaurants to be enjoyed until all hours. If it is walking you are looking for there are a lot of mountain paths to be explored here in the village, which can take you anything from 1 hour to 3 or 4 hours – plus organized walks with groups. There is endless fun to be had and activities of all kinds for all ages.

Accommodation

A compact 1st floor apartment. 1 double bedroom and one other bedroom with 2 single beds – both these rooms are of a fair size with wardrobes. A nice sized lounge area in the centre of the apartment. A large sunny kitchen – newly fitted – with table and chairs. 1 full bathroom with shower. Outside there is a very large sun terrace with table, umbrella, chairs and mountain views to enjoy.

Facilities

There is a television/stereo and a ceiling fan in the living room and gas fire if needed. You have everything you need in the kitchen including a fridge, microwave, oven, hob and a table and chairs plus and extra table and chairs with umbrella on the sun terrace.

We try to make your stay as problem free and enjoyable as possible. You will find a welcome pack awaiting your arrival with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. If any help or information is needed during your stay we are only a short distance away. Barx is a very self-sufficient village – you have everything you need there for every day living. Also, unlike most of the holiday resorts along this coastline, the tap water here is of good quality and drinkable. If you are flying, Valencia airport is an hour’s drive and Alicante and hour and a half. We can supply you with directions if required.
