Seven and a half acres of beautiful wooded valley provide the setting for just twenty-nine self catering bungalows and chalets here at Leycroft Valley which is situated between Perranporth and St. Agnes.
Divided by a shallow stream and the mill pond, the valley has an east-west perspective which traps the sun all day. Leycroft Valley is a quiet and beautiful location. Flora and fauna include maples, rhododendrons, eucalyptus, buddleia, ducks, rabbits, badgers, bats, buzzards, wagtails, gold crest, robins, and many more...
Location
Some of the many attractions within easy reach of Leycroft Valley include the three mile long sandy and surfing beach at Perranporth, rock pools at St. Agnes, numerous walks, National Trust properties and gardens, Eden Project, Holywell Bay Children's Fun Park Flambards Theme Park, National Seal Sanctuary, Newquay Water World, Zoo, etc., Minack Theatre set in cliffs with awe-inspiring views across the sea, Truro Cathedral, Tate St. Ives, castles, harbours, golfing, gliding, sailing, fishing.
Accommodation
Alpine Bungalow has 6 berths in 3 bedrooms, 2 with 4' 6" double beds and fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom also has a vanity unit. The third bedroom has twin 3' pine beds and furniture. Bathroom with full size bath, electric shower and WC. Lounge/dining room with patio doors leading to the terrace and private garden area with furniture. Fully equipped kitchen including a microwave oven. Sofa bed in the lounge.
Facilities
At Leycroft Valley we have a pleasant bar with pool table and conservatory. Bar meals are available upon request. Occasionally in July and August, subject to the weather, etc., we have a barbecue with kebabs, chicken, burgers, baked potatoes, salad, etc. Additional facilities include a payphone and a laundry with washing and drying machines. Often during late July and August local musicians or a children's entertainer will provide enjoyable and memorable entertainment. Relax in the peace and quiet of Leycroft Valley, walk the local country and coastal paths or explore Cornwall.
