Location

300-year-old Whitewalls Cottage is positioned on the edge of Mithian village at the end of a row of three picturesque thatched cottages. Steep ladder style stairs lead up to the light and airy bedroom with sloping boarded ceilings.

A TV/video and radio/CD player are provided. The bedroom has a double bed, walk-in clothes storage cupboard and drawers (plus clock/radio and hairdryer). There is further storage in the sitting room. Additional Information

As well as the many activities around the village itself (including horse riding and a golf driving range), there are many country and coastal walks and the area is rich in art galleries and craft workshops.

Nearby the most notable beaches are Trevaunance Cove, Chapel Porth (National Trust owned) and Perranporth - a three-mile stretch of golden sands and breathtaking sea views from the cliff-top golf course.

Mithian is conveniently located to reach many of Cornwall's most best known attractions. Various heritage sites reflecting Cornish history and legend such as Pendennis and St Mawes castle are readily accessible, as well as a number of industrial heritage sites. Famous National Trust properties (Trerice, Trelissick and Glendurgan) and other gardens (for example, the Lost Gardens of Heligan) are also easy to get to by car.

The Eden Project and the new National Maritime Museum at Falmouth (fast becoming the most popular attractions in Cornwall) are also easily reached from the cottage.
