The Villa
Family owned since 1968, this property was converted from
the Old Milking Parlour and is situated on the banks of the
stream which leads through the valley bottom to the beach
at Crackington Haven. Heaters throughout and a glowing woodburning
stove make this cottage a popular choice for the colder months.
Location
Mineshop is a private tranquil sheltered suntrap, in a peaceful
wooded valley just a one mile stroll through the meadows and
woods to the beach at Crackington Haven, here you will find
a excellent coffee shop, a beach cafe and a pub selling good
ales and bar meals. Crackington is surrounded by National
Trust cliff land, which offers scenery second to none. Bude
is 9 miles, The Eden Project is about 35 to 40 minutes. Shops
and pubs are 1 and 2 miles.
Accommodation
The Old Shippon (meaning milking parlour), has been tastefully
converted to a cottage sleeping up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms:
1 x double and 2 x twins.
Facilities
- Fully equipped kitchen with full-size electric cooker,
fridge with ice box, microwave, etc.
- Bed linen is supplied free of charge.
- Towels, can be hired at £6.00 per person per week.
- Electricity, meters take £1.00 Coins.
- Storage heating is free in early and late season.

Additional Information
Bookings run from Friday to Friday, but sometimes can be
made from other days out of season.
Pets, are welcome at £11.00 per week per pet. For short breaks
we charge £6.00 per pet. Please note we are sorry but we do
not accept puppies. Cats may be accepted but only by prior
arrangement.
