This historic Scottish laird's mansion sleeps 12 in grand and spacious self-catering vacation rental accommodation in the mountains of a secluded glen and loch in Scotland's National Park. A family and friends gathering and holiday place.

Centrally located on the shore of Loch Voil in the beautiful Braes O' Balquhidder and Rob Roy's village, Stronvar House offers exclusive self catering accommodation for up to 12 guests. In the area are:

• Castles, historic houses (including Stronvar) and battle sites
• Museums, visitor centres, whisky distilleries, a safari park, and excellent restaurants
• 30 golf courses within the area for a day's golf
• Pony trekking and water sports
• Hill walking and mountains to climb

Accommodation

The five large bedrooms – 2 double four-poster (1 with extra single), 1 twin, 1 triple, 2 double – all have en suite bathrooms, TV, clock radios, hair dryers, trouser presses, books, latest high tog duvets, and towels. Cot and high chair and two occasional beds and sleeping bags for extra children.

Facilities

Kitchen is fully equipped with modern ceramic hob cooker, freezer, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, food processor, coffee brewer, toasters, kettle, washing machine, clothes dryer. Very large dining room can seat 20. Breakfast bar and electric organ. Extra large lounge with ample seating, bar, Pianola, PC with 24/7 Internet connection.

Only available Easter to September. Unrefundable deposit of 30% payable on reservation, remainder payable 2 months before arrival. Price includes all hot water, electricity, towels, linens and 24/7 Internet connection. There are no hidden extras.
