The Captain Kelley house was built in 1777 and retains its
historic charm yet fully modernised for your vacation needs.
Enjoy spacious accommodation (approximately 1500 sq ft) with
wide pine floors, large closets, exposed beams, and a ‘secret’
stairway. All three bedrooms are air conditioned.
Relax in the sprawling private fenced yard offering areas
of shade and sun with spacious deck and plentiful outdoor
furnishings. If you have even felt trapped in a small cottage,
with little room inside and neighbours right on top of you,
this home might be for you.
LocationThe home is centrally located on the corner of Upper County Road (one of the four major crossroads through Dennisport) and Clipper Lane (a quiet residential street) and is a short walk from Swan Pond. The ocean (Nantucket Sound) is exactly one mile away with numerous other beaches in close proximity. The town centre is a quarter mile away for gas, groceries, videos or restaurants. The Cape Cod Bikeway is 1.6 miles away and there are four major golf courses located nearby.
AccommodationSpacious accommodation in which to relax and enjoy your stay. The first floor offers a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee-maker, full-size refrigerator, stove, and a variety of pots, pans, and utensils), a bathroom with an antique claw-foot tub, laundry room with washer and dryer, dining room, living room, and air-conditioned master bedroom (queen bed). The second floor has a bathroom with a shower and two air conditioned bedrooms (one with twin-size bunk beds, the other with one extra-long twin and one double bed).
