With long sandy beaches and warm waters, Birch Bay is a popular swimming spot famous for claming and shell-fishing. The easy commute is less then an hour to Vancouver, British Columbia and a 2 hour drive from Seattle which attracts visitors from both sides of the border.

Accommodation

Two-bedroom condominium with an upstairs loft sleeping area. There are two bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher, the waterfront balcony with a 180 degree ocean view and back balcony overlooking a rolling creek, with a gas barbecue and two bicycles for riding.

Also included are cable TV, VCR and CD/cassette player. The adjacent clubhouse offers a swimming pool in the summer and year-round hot tub, sauna, laundry facilities, ping pong and a place to mingle and relax. Outside the clubhouse are badminton, volleyball, horseshoes, and fire-pits.

Beach access is across the street where crabbing, clamming and shell fishing are popular activities. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the Resort at Semiahmoo and Birch Bay Golf Course. If you enjoy the outdoors, Birch Bay is for you! Salt and freshwater activities include boating, kayaking, swimming, and windsurfing. Beautiful Mount Baker ski area is less than 90 minutes away. Birch Bay State Park is a 10 minute walk from Vostok Vacation with camping, barbecues, and a mile-long stretch of driftwood-strewn beach. Hunting and fishing are available in the nearby Lake Terrace area.

Birch Bay offers go-carts, arcades, biking, bingo, miniature golf and the fabulous waterslides! Locally there are cafes, restaurants and shopping for groceries and video rental, duty free shop and nearby outlet stores.
