Web Villa Rentals was launched on 1st June, 2004 to
help holidaymakers find villa rentals in Florida, Greece,
Italy, France, Portugal and Spain, including holiday
rentals in island groups such as the Balearics and the
Canaries – as well as a selection of quality accommodation
in many other vacation destinations around the world.
Our aim is to bring together people who are looking
for holiday accommodation with people who have holiday
homes to rent, easily and without adding large premiums
to the cost of holiday rental, which is what most 'agencies'
do.
As villa owners ourselves, we have been continually
frustrated by the lack of good quality rental sites
that attract serious numbers of vacation property renters
as well as providing a significant choice of rental
properties and destinations. For the benefit of property
renters, it is our intention steadily to increase the
number of vacation rentals in each country and also
to offer a range of different holiday destinations around
the world.
Having had a good deal of success in promoting our
own Florida rental villa through the search engines,
we believe we can transfer this knowledge to create
a successful holiday rental site for villa, apartment
and condo owners whose properties are located around
the world. We are realistic enough to know that this
is not, of course, going to happen overnight. Optimisation
in the search engines is a long, laborious and continuing
process. We sincerely wish to provide a cost-effective
return for advertisers – which is why we currently
offer free advertising to at least 30 September 2005 –
and to provide an excellent choice of properties and
holiday destinations for vacation renters.
The future
This is just the beginning. As the service and the
site develop, we shall be introducing many new pages
to add to holidaymakers' experience, which will, in
turn, benefit our advertisers. Watch this space and
